Looking for a way to combine architecture, design, and holiday festivities? Then visiting the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Seattle for the 24th Annual Gingerbread Village is a must for architecture and gingerbread lovers alike! Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Photo by Seattle PI Local Architecture firms collaborate with the culinary staff at the Sheraton hotel every year to create gingerbread house masterpieces. This year’s theme is “Celebrate the Magic of the Holidays” and features the magnificent wizarding world of Harry Potter recreated in gingerbread form. Visitors to the village will have a chance to vote on their favorite theme until the display ends on January 1, 2017. This event’s donations benefit the Northwest Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund.
